ViVo, the active Chinese brand, does not stop expanding its catalog every week with new smartphones, and a few days ago presented its new Vivo Y37c.
This is a cheap terminal range with 4G-Lte connectivity that already comes with a body with IP64 certification, so we will enjoy protection against dust and splashes. Inside, we have an Octa Core UNISOC T7225 processor, which is really a renamed UNISOC T612 and that, as a reference, has a result of about 250,000 points in Antutu v10, a suitable performance for day to day if we are not very demanding.
The rest of its configuration does not stand out, especially within its price range and as an operating system we have Android 14 with the OriginOS 14 brand layer.
Vivo Y37c Specifications
This new entry-level smartphone is powered by a UNISOC T7225 processor manufactured in 12 nm. This chip is an Octa Core that includes 2 high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 1.8 GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 1.8 GHz and an ARM Mali-G57 MP1 GPU that reaches 650 Mhz. Enough for simple games and also for demanding games in medium quality.
Soldered on the board we find 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM that can be expanded with 8 GB extra virtually using the storage memory. For storage, we have 128 GB of eMMc 5.1 memory that we can expand through the micro SD card reader up to 1 TB additional.
Display and other features
This new smartphone has a 6.74-inch IPS touchscreen display, a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels, 20:9 ratio, 1500:1 contrast, brightness reaching 570 nits and 90 Hz refresh. On the top frame of the display we have a 5 MP camera with microphone that complements the 13 MP rear with integrated LED flash that is supported with an 8 MP secondary.
This terminal has Wi-Fi aC connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, 4G-LTe modem with Dual SIM, GPS and a 5500 mAh battery with 15 W fast charging. In terms of connectivity we have a USB Type-C 2.0 OTG port, a 3.5 mm jack for headphones and for audio we have a pair of stereo speakers. Finally, its chassis measures 1657.30 × 76.95 × 8.19 mm with a weight that stays at 199 grams, and we find the fingerprint sensor on the side.
