The new vivo S2 FE is now on sale in India a phone that will soon be available in the West and that undoubtedly stands out for its large 10000 mAh battery.
The phone also features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a high 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. This smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e processor, an evolution of the Dimensity 7300 with manufacturer-specific customizations. This SoC outperforms the previous Dimensity 7050 by 25% in CPU performance and 20% in GPU performance thanks to its new Arm Mali-G615, which is more than capable of handling all Android games.
The operating system is Android 15 with the brand’s custom OriginOS 6 overlay, which includes various AI-powered features such as photo editing, document scanning, and more.
vivo S2 FE Specifications
The SoC in this new VIVO smartphone is the latest MediaTek Dimensity 7300e, an octa-core processor manufactured ona 4-nm process. This chip integrates 4 ARM Cortex-A78 processors clocked at up to 2.5 GHz and 4 ARM Cortex-A55 processors clocked at up to 2.0 GHz. The GPU is a Mali-G615 MC2 running at 1,047 MHz and includes support for HDR10 technology. It also features an NPU 655 for artificial intelligence tasks.
RAM options include 6 GB or 8 GB LPDDR4X, which can be virtually expanded using storage space. For storage, the device features 128 GB UFS 2.2, which can also be expanded via a microSD slot presumably up to 2 TB cards.
Display, Cameras, and Battery Life
The display panel used by this Vivo is a 6.83-inch AMOLED with a resolution 2800 × 1260 pixels, a maximum brightness of 2000 nits, a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and includes light and proximity sensors. For selfies, there’s a32 MP front-facing camera that complements the rear sensors; the rear setup features a 50 MP Sony IMX852 sensor supported by a 2 MP depth sensor.
It also features an in-display fingerprint reader, 5G connectivity with Dual SIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and 5-in-1 GPS for location tracking. As for connectivity ports, this new device features a USB Type-C 2.0 port for data transfer and charging. The battery has a capacity of 10,000 mAh with fast charging support of up to 44 W.
