It is already available in China the new vivo Y500, a mid-range terminal that we found very interesting and that it looks like this time we will see it in Western lands.
It certainly highlights its large 8200mAh battery that guarantees a great autonomy and does not excessively penalize the weight of this terminal, as it stays at 213 grams. A VIVO that uses the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 processor, an evolution of the Dimensity 7050 that exceeds up to 25% in CPU and 20% in GPU thanks to its new Arm Mali-G615. It also highlights its screen with a 6.77″ AMOLED panel that will provide good visibility, considering its price, thanks to its brightness and its refresh rate that reaches 120 Hz.
The operating system is Android 15 with the OriginOS 15 layer that includes different functions powered by iA, photo editing, document scanning, etc. This vivo has a body with IP69 resistance plus MIL-STD-810H military grade resistance certification, with a screen that we can efficiently use with wet or even oily fingers.

Specifications of vivo Y500
The SoC of this new VIVO smartphone is the recent Mediatek Dimensity 7300, an Octa Core manufactured in 4 nm. Inside this integrated we have two clusters, the more powerful one with 4 ARM Cortex-A78 processors that reach 2.5 Ghz and the more efficient one with 4 ARM Cortex-A55 processors that reach 2.0 Ghz. The GPU is a Mali-G615 MC2 that reaches 1047 Mhz and includes support for HDR10 technology. We also have an NPU 655 for artificial intelligence work.
The RAM memory has versions with 8 or 12 GB LPDDR4X although as always we can expand it virtually with the storage memory. For storage, we have options with 128 / 256 / 512 GB UFS 3.1 that we can also expand via micro SD slot up to, we assume, with 2 TB capacity cards.
