The new Vivo Y500s has just been released in China; it’s a smartphone powered by a Qualcomm processor and featuring a 6.75-inch display.
As always, it features an IP69-certified body, ensuring good resistance to dust and splashes. For the processor, this time they’ve opted for an Octa-Core Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, which comes with 5G connectivity and scores around 420,000 points on AnTuTu v11. Its battery is worth mentioning, as it’s high-capacity at 7,200 mAh and supports up to 44W charging, so you can top it off quickly.
Its display measures 6.75 inches with a 120 Hz refresh rate, despite not having a very high resolution. Finally, it runs on Android 16 with the OriginOS 6 overlay.

ViVo Y500s Specifications
Inside this device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC , an octa-core processor manufactured on a 4nm process. It includes two clusters: the more powerful one with two ARM Cortex-A78 processors clocked at 1.95 GHz, and the more efficient one with six ARM Cortex-A55 processors clocked at 1.8 GHz. The iGPU is an Adreno 613 with a maximum speed of 933 MHz.
This new smartphone will come in versions with 8/12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256/512 GB of high-speed UFS 3.1 storage, expandable via a microSD card slot located on the side.
Display and other features
The Vivo Y500s features a 6.75-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1570 × 720 pixels, 1200 nits of brightness, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The front camera is 8 MP; the rear camera is 50 MP and is supported by a secondary camera and an LED flash.
It also features Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, a 5G modem with Dual SIM, and GPS for location tracking. The battery is 7200 mAh with 44W fast charging; it has a fingerprint sensor integrated into the power button, a USB Type-C 2.0 port for charging and data transfer, and weighs 219 grams.
