The VONTAR H618 is another cheap-range Android box that we found on AliExpress, another small multimedia box that will go unnoticed.

The VONTAR H618 Box comes with Android 12 as OS and is based on Quad Core Allwinner H618 SoC which don’t have hardware decoding support for AV1 codec and is a small evolution of the Allwinner H616 processor. The rest of its specifications do not stand out, and it is that it has fairly standard hardware suitable for using this box as a multimedia centre up to 4K UHD resolutions or for installing and using apps of all kinds, including emulators and games, without too much graphic demand.

Remember that with the VONTAR H618 you cannot watch video in the highest quality in the apps of paid streaming platforms, since it does not have DRM certifications.
