Continue the avalanche of Chinese TV Boxes with Android TV as OS and this time we have the so-called Vontar V1. It is a computer with a hardware configuration quite common but enough to work as a mediaplayer without problems in FHD TVs thanks to its SoC Quad Core Amlogic and the 2 GB of RAM included. On the package we are struck by its remote control with micro and a good selection of shortcuts keys.
SoC, RAM and storage
The Vontar V1 is a TV-Box that includes a Quad Core SoC from AMlogic the S905W SoC with 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores capable of reaching 1.5GHz and a Mali-450mp5 GPU capable of decoding video up to resolutions 4K @ 30fps. Integrated into the board we find 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage memory of the eMMc type that can be expanded thanks to the microSD slot found in one of the sides of the plastic box.
Connectivity and other features
At the wireless level we only have WiFi b/g/n with internal antenna and does not have Bluetooth. In terms of connectivity we find two USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI 2.0a, 10/100 network port and an analog connector for audio and video.
The operating system is Android TV based on Android 7.1.2 with which we can use Google Assistant to launch voice searches thanks to the remote control.
