We already have available in stores the new VORKE V2 Pro mini PC models, an evolution of the Vorke V2 Plus that now includes new Intel Kaby Lake R 8th generation processors and DDR4 memories as major improvements. The new Vorke V2 Pro repeats the box of the previous generation with active ventilation and incomprehensibly the HDMI output that includes is 1.4b only, which is limited to 4K@30fps resolutions.
Processor, RAM and storage
The mini PC VORKE V2 Pro includes 2 processor options, on the one hand we have the Intel Core i5-8250U Dual Core in its cheaper version and a more powerful Intel Core i7-8550U Quad Core processor for the top model. In terms of memory, we have 8 GB of DDR4 memory in the only slot available, while at the storage level we have an M.2 NVMe 2280 SSD of 128 or 256 GB installed and a SATA 3 connector with an internal bay for 2,5″ disk.
Connectivity and other features
The wireless connectivity this mini PC includes installed in an internal PCIe M.2 2230 slot an Intel-3165 card with WiFi aC and Bluetooth 4.2. The connectors are the same for the two listed models: 2 USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0, 1 USB Type-C port, HDMI 1.4b, 2 3.5mm audio jacks and a Gigabit network connector.
The two computers have Ubuntu 16.04 pre-installed as an operating system but naturally they are compatible with Windows 10. By default with this mini PC we have a VESA support and external power adapter.
