It seems that the new SoC S905W from Amlogic is going to have a strong entry in the market because these last days we have seen a good number of TV-Box mounting this new Quad Core SoC. W95 is the name of this new TV-Box that includes a low profile box of plastic and the last SoC of Amlogic that is recommended to connect to monitors or TV with FHD resolution because this chip has 4K video output but only reaches the 30fps. Apart from that is a basic equipment with low-end hardware especially in its cheaper version.
W95 integrates the SoC of the Amlogic S905W, a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a MALI-450mp5 GPU. It has on board 1 / 8GB of RAM, 8 / 16GB eMMc storage memory and WiFi b / g / n with internal antenna (without Bluetooth). For connectivity includes 2 USB 2.0 ports, microSD card reader, HDMI 2.0b port, 10/100 network connector, SPDIF digital audio output and lastly an analogue port for audio and video.
W95 includes in the package an infrared remote control while the operating system is Android 7.1.
