The new low-cost Walmart Onn 4K Streaming Device 2026 Android TV stick has been unveiled. A popular solution in the U.S. for turning any screen into a smart TV.
This small device was revealed thanks to a Reddit user. This new product replaces the Onn Stick 4K and features a new micro-box-style design. It appears to be powered by the Realtek RTD1325 SoC, which includes support for technologies such as Dolby Atmos and AV1, as well as video enhancements using AISR and APQ algorithms. It comes with a Bluetooth remote control featuring dedicated shortcut keys for streaming apps and a built-in microphone for using the voice assistant.
Its operating system is Google TV with Chromecast built-in, offering full access to the Google Play Store, and it is capable of playing video in up to 4K HDR quality on paid streaming apps such as Netflix, Prime Video, and others.

The processor in this small media stick is a Realtek RTD1325. This is a quad-core chip with Arm Cortex-A55 processors capable of reaching 1.7 GHz and an Arm Mali-G57 MC1 iGPU. Its VPU includes AV1 and HDR10 video decoding. A certified solution we’ve already seen in some of our reviews, the power is sufficient for any standard streaming app.
The motherboard features 2 GB of soldered-on DDR4 RAM. It comes with only 8 GB of storage, which can only be expanded via a hub connected to the USB-C port.
Other features
In terms of wireless connectivity, this new Android Stick features dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2. The included ports are limited to a single USB-C port for power to which we could likely connect an OTG hub and an HDMI 2.0 video output capable of outputting video at resolutions up to 4K HDR with Dolby Atmos. To stream content from our phone, we have Google Cast.
The included Bluetooth remote control has a microphone for giving commands to Gemini, which comes pre-installed as the default assistant on Google TV in the United States. You will likely face restrictions on using this product in the U.S., and outside that region, a VPN is necessary.
