Today we found in AliExpress a small media player Stick format called WESOPRO G2, basically oriented to IPTV apps.
A stick with Android TV 10 and with a hardware only suitable for basic use and IPTV Streaming, as glimpsed in advertising, as it includes a specific App for this. The WESOPRO G2 is powered by a low-end processor such as the Allwinner H313 of which you can check its performance in one of our reviews. In this TV-Stick and we do not have the necessary certificates to see streaming of payment in high quality despite having direct access buttons to Netflix and Disney+ on the remote control.
If we are looking for that, it is better to go for a streaming certified device. Also, better not to expect any kind of support for this media player that is not going to move from Android 10.
WESOPRO G2 Specifications
The small WESOPRO G2 stick has an entry-level Allwinner H313 SoC at its core. A low-power Quad Core chip with ARM Cortex-A53 processors that integrates Mali-G31 MP2 GPU with native decoding of h.265 and VP9 codecs and support for HDR10 video.
A version with 2 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB of eMMc storage memory is available. If we want to expand the internal memory, we only have a USB port available to insert a pendrive.
Other features
As for wireless connectivity, this TV-stick has Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. As connectors, we only have an HDMI 2.0 male video output, a USB 2.0 port and a micro USB port for power.
With this small mediaplayer is also delivered a Bluetooth remote control with microphone and hotkeys to various streaming platforms such as Netflix and Disney+.
