After a long time without interesting news from the Wetek brand, they have already officially presented its new TV-Box WeTek Air. A team that will come with Android TV 8.0 certified by Google as OS, has Chromecast integrated, but everything seems to indicate, for its lack of publicity, that this time we will not have available Netflix HD perhaps one of the most interesting extras that brand had. As usual in Boxes with Android TV we also find a remote control with microphone to operate the voice searches that includes this OS, a command that in this case is Bluetooth.
SoC, RAM and storage
The Box WeTek Air will include a Amlogic Quad Core SoC with support HDR, surely the S905D designed for devices with tuners. Inside we also have 2 GB of DDR4 RAM and 16 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can expand thanks to the included microSD card reader.
Other specifications
At the level of wireless connectivity we have WiFi MIMO aC and Bluetooth 4.1 while as connectors we find an HDMI 2.0a interface, a pair of USB 2.0 connectors, RJ45 10/100 network connector, an SPDIF digital audio output, SPDIF audio output, IR sensor and the antenna inputs for the DVB-S2 and DVB-T/T2/C tuners.
