Today we have a rare model to introduce, inside a TV-Box called World TV we found the SoC of the well-known brand ZTE designed for TV-Boxes called ZXIC ZX296716. It is a Quad Core chip very similar by specifications to the S905X of Amlogic that the truth has not been lavished in the market until now. At least despite not having much penetration in the market includes Android 7.1 as operating system but we need to see their performance and benefits in the real world.
SoC, RAM and storage
World TV includes the ZTE ZX29 ZX296716 SoC as engine, a Quad Core with Cortex-A53 ARM processors capable of reaching 1.5Ghz and a Mali-450mp5 GPU with native support for decoding the H.265, VP9 codecs, which is capable of playing video up to 4K@60fps resolutions and has support for HDR. Internally it includes 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16GB of expandable eMMc storage memory thanks to the included microSD card slot.
Other specifications
Inside the World TV we also have a Wi-Fi / Wi-Fi network and do not have Bluetooth. At the level of connectivity we find on the sides of the box a pair of USB 2.0 ports, 10/100 network connector, analog audio and video jack, SPDIF port and an HDI 2.0a video output.
