X3 Cube, X3 Pro and X3 Plus new Android miniPC’s now with S905X3 SoC

The new Box with Android X3 Cube, X3 Pro and X3 Plus can now be booked in stores, two new boxes that are the logical evolution of the small Smart Box X2 Cube that we analyzed with good results a few weeks ago. As you have guessed this new version includes the new Amlogic S905X3 SoC and we hope that your software will continue on the path of the X2 range. The rest of the specifications and box design are the same as in the previous version with AMlogic S905X2 SoC, which we repeat, are an excellent purchase option.

SoC, RAM and storage

The Smart TV Box X3 CUBE, X3 PRO and X3 PLUS include the new AMlogic S905X3 SoC, a Quad Core manufactured in 12nm that reaches up to 1.9 GHz speed and integrates a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU. This SoC has 4 ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores and also an NPU for iA. The VPU is an Amlogic Video Engine 10 with HDR Dolby Vision optional, HDR10 +, HDR10, HLG and PRIME HDR among others. The Box X3 CUBE includes 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 16GB of eMMc storage memory while the X3 PRO have installed 4/32GB and the model X3 PLUS have 4/64GB.

Other specifications

The mini Box X3 CUBE and X3 PRO have wireless connectivity level have Wifi ac Dual Band with a small external antenna and Bluetooth 4.1. The connectors included in the plastic box are of course few, a USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0, SPDIF digital audio port, a gigabit Ethernet connector and HDMI 2.1 and AV video outputs. We also have a connector for the IR sensor which in this case is external.

The installed system is Android 9 Pie and we have as standard among the accessories an IR remote control.
