Another Chinese Android box appearing on AliExpress, this time with the name X30 and based on the Allwinner H618 Quad Core processor.
A multimedia box that comes with Android TV 12 as operating system, although it is probably an unofficial version and for which, by the way, we have a remote control with microphone to use the assistant. As Android engine, we find the Allwinner H618 processor, an evolution of the Allwinner H616, which supports hardware decoding for the AV1 codec. The hardware of this Box allows its use as a multimedia centre up to 4K UHD resolutions without problems or to run apps of all kinds, including emulators up to Dreamcast and games without too many demands on graphics.
As it happens in this type of boxes, the X30 is not suitable for upgrades and remember that it is not suitable for watching video at maximum quality in the apps of paid streaming platforms such as Netflix. A Box that we can also use as a receiver of content because we can broadcast them from our smartphone, since it is compatible with DNLA, AirPlay and Miracast and also includes Wi-Fi 6, so theoretically we will have good stability and bandwidth.
