X96 Mate H616 new low-end Box with Allwinner H616 SoC and Android 10

New Box of the cheapest range, only $29.98, which we located on Aliexpress.com that can serve as a 4K media player with Kodi called X96 Mate.

This Smart Box is based on the Quad Core Allwinner H616 SoC and includes Android 10.0 as standard. As memory, we have 4 GB of RAM, the amount that we currently recommend in AndroidPcTV so that it can move freely between apps. A Box, as we say, is correct as a multimedia player but with which we will have problems if we want to use it with many of the paid streaming platforms, since it does not have certificates, and we will be limited to basic video qualities.

SoC, RAM and storage

The TV-Box X96 Mate includes the Allwinner H616 SoC that integrates ARM Cortex-A53 processors and an ARM Mali-G31MP2 GPU. We have versions of this Smart TV-Box available in the store with 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 32/64 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can expand thanks to the micro SD card reader that this Box includes on one of its sides.

Other specs

In the field of wireless connectivity we have for the X96 Mate Wi-Fi aC Dual Band with internal antenna and Bluetooth 5.0. As connectors, we find in its plastic box 1 USB 2.0 ports, another USB 3.0, a 10/100 network connector, analogue audio and video output jack, a SPDIF digital audio interface, connector for IR sensor extender and a port HDMI 2.0a video signal.
