Again we have a new model of TV-Box based on the low-cost Amlogic S905WSoC a chip cheaper than the S905X basically aimed at users with TV with FHD resolution that do not need 4K resolution. This new equipment is called X96 S905W and comes in the typical box quadrangular plastic that we have already seen in other teams with different SoC under the name X96. Also at the hardware level we have a fairly normal configuration and the software surely will have the same level.
X96 S905W integrates the SoC Amlogic S905W which features four ARM Cortex-A53 CPU 64bit cores up to 1.5GHz with a Mali-450mp5 GPU. It has 1 / 2GB of RAM, 8 / 16GB eMMc storage and wifi b/g/n. As for connectivity, there are two USB 2.0 ports, microSD card reader, SPDIF output, an HDMI 2.0a, 10/100 network port, AV analog output and a connector for an external IR sensor.
The operating system is Android 7.1.2 and as always we have one IR remote controller included on the accessories.
