Firmware available for the TV Stick X98 S500 based on Android 11 and dated 08-23-2022. An Android Stick that includes a Quad Core AMlogic S905Y4 processor with ARM Cortex-A35 processors and an ARM Mali-G31 MP2 GPU that reaches 850 Mhz. This SoC includes decoding of the new AV1 codec, support for video output up to 4K@60fps resolutions, and compatibility with HDR 10, HDR10+, HLG, and Dolby Vision technologies.

can the author prove that this gadget has Dolby Vision technology? I have not read about it anywhere.


Dear editors, do not copy the update instructions to all gadgets equally, especially the TV Stick. I bought the X98 S500, despite various attempts, I could not update. I have used the 30cm Lindy cable which I use to update Zidoo, King x and many more successfully. The X98 S500 has no SD input and the USB port cannot be upgraded via SD or Amlogic. The reason is the low voltage at the USB port input, which makes it invisible to the PC. An additional expensive cable is needed.
