New and interesting compact and low-consumption miniPC that we found on Aliexpress of the XCY brand. A miniPC available in many options but among which stands out its model with 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8650U / 8550U processors with enough power to move any program under Windows 10. This miniPC also stands out for its multiple connectivity options and its ease of expansion thanks to its two sockets for RAM and M.2 and SATA3 ports for storage.
Processor, RAM and storage
The XCY miniPC is available among others with Intel Core i7-8650U and Core i5-8550U processors, Quad Cores manufactured in 14nm with a 28W TDP and an Intel UHD Graphics 620 GPU. This miniPC has two DDRM SO-DIMM slots where we can mount up to 16 GB of RAM and internally we have space for an M.2 2280 SSD and a 2.5-inch SATA 3 disk as we see a connector of this type on your PCB.
Other features
At the wireless connectivity level we have a connector for a miniPCI-e card with Wifi / Bluetooth 4.0. Regarding ports despite its size we find nothing less than 4 USB 3.0, 4 USB 2.0, 2 RJ45 Gigabit network connectors, HDMI 1.4 port, Display Port, two 3.5mm audio jacks, microSD card reader and a port USB Type-C.
