XF43, retro console with ergonomic design at a bargain price

If we are looking for a cheap, but somewhat decent retro console, the XF43 may be what we are looking for. It has simple hardware but with a good overall design.

This console on offer is powered by a Rockchip RK3128 SoC that we have seen in some TV-Boxes and that is also integrated in Chinese laptops for emulation. The OS is linux which offers us a higher performance than what we can find for this price with Android. In terms of power, it is almost better to stay in 16/32 bit consoles at most, maybe even PS1 with luck. By default, we have 30 emulators and more than 20,000 games included on an SD card.

A console that stands out for its design that makes it quite comfortable. We have a distribution of buttons, controls and trigger buttons quite nice, so we will not have to suffer when playing for a long period.

The XF43 includes a Rockchip RK3128 Quad Core SoC, with ARM Cortex-A7 processors capable of reaching 1.3Ghz and an ARM Mali-400 MP2 GPU. A fairly simple processor, but for the price can give us play for a lot of classic games.

We also have 1 GB of RAM DDR3 and 4 GB of internal storage memory for the OS. We can expand its storage thanks to the included micro SD card reader that supports cards up to 256 GB.

Its screen is a 4.3 inch IPS with a resolution of 380×272 pixels, a resolution sufficient for arcade or 16bit games. Regarding connectors we have in addition to the micro SD card reader, 3.5 mm audio jack, a pair of USB-C 2.0 ports, micro HDMI video output connector. The battery is 3000 mAh and according to advertising can have a duration of more than 4 hours.

For control we note that we have 2 analog Hall sticks with RGB lights, crosshead, buttons and four rear triggers. Finally, comment on the inclusion of two speakers, something uncommon in this type of cheap consoles.
