Presented in China the Xiaomi Laser Projector 3 4K, a high-end product that features a design with a fairly striking cubic lines.
Lately, we are seeing quite a few competing 4K laser projectors, now Xiaomi joins the fight with a striking design with a 130º rotating base that allows us to orient it in multiple positions. Thanks to the triple 4K HDR laser projection system that integrates this projector we will have a high image quality at all times. In addition, on the front we find a high resolution camera and ToF sensors, with these elements we have automatic geometry adjustments and detection of objects to avoid during the projection in real time.
The light source of the Xiaomi Laser Projector 3 4K has the HyperOS system customized by the brand for this type of products. For the sound we have 8 W speakers compatible with Dolby.
Specifications of the Xiaomi Laser Projector 3 4K
This projector features DLP Optical Laser ALC Triple Color RGB ALC technology with TI 0.47” DMD chip, has 4K native resolution and 1000 CVIA Lumens brightness. It has HDR10 support, 110% BT.2020 color gamut with 1600:1 contrast. The gimbal-type structure offers a wide projection angle of up to 130°. The device incorporates an 8×8 ToF (time-of-flight) laser detection module for real-time adjustments, a high-resolution camera and advanced AI algorithms.
This projector offers MEMC technology for dynamic interpolation to enhance moving images. It has also obtained SGS low blue light certification to protect new eyes.
Connections, multimedia and other features
The SoC of the Xiaomi Laser Projector 3 4K is a MediaTek MT9667, a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A73 processors up to 1.3 GHz and an Arm Mali-G52 MC1 GPU with support for AV1 video.It also includes 3 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage memory eMMc. In the audio section we have two 8W speakers certified by Dolby.
For connectivity, it includes USB 2.0 ports, audio jack and HDMI 2.1 video input with eARC4K@120Hz HDR audio support. We also have an integrated stand that allows you to rotate it 260 degrees and put it in vertical tilt, we can also carry it comfortably in its included case.

Price and availability
- The Xiaomi Laser Projector 3 4K projector is currently only available for pre-order in China for 4399 ¥ which at direct exchange rate is $622 / 553 €.
- In its western version on mi.com it will be significantly more expensive.
