Xiaomi has just officially unveiled its new Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 PLUS tablet, the big brother of the recently released Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 with which it shares most of its hardware. This new tablet increases its screen to 10.1 inches, incorporates a 4G-LTE modem, GPS and increases its battery to 8620mha. An higher size that will be welcomed by many users, which is also naturally noted in its price and its weight that goes from 342.5 to 485 grams.
SoC, RAM and storage
The Soc of the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 PLUS is a Snapdragon 660, an Octa Core with a pair of clusters of 4 cores Kyro 260 each. The most powerful of these clusters customized by Qualcomm reaches 2.2Ghz while the second remains at 1.8Ghz and the GPU is an Adreno 530. It has versions of 4GB of RAM, 64/128 GB of memory. storage and does not include a microSD card reader.
Screen and other features
The touch screen is a 10.1-inch IPS 16:10 OGS and maintains the resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels that had the 8-inch model, also includes in its upper part a brightness sensor, a 5 MP camera with microphone and Facial recognition software for unlocking and in the back we have another 13 MP camera. It also has WiFi 2 × 2 MIMO dual band, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, 8620 mAh battery with fast charge up to 10W, a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port for data and charging.
The operating system is MIUI 10 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and at the design level we continue with narrow frames and a metal body with stereo speakers in its lower back.
Price and availability in stores
- Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 PLUS will be available in China from next August 16 for a price of about $276 for its model with 4 / 64GB and $306 for its version with 4 / 128GB.
