The AX1800 stands out for its tower shape, where the MU-MiMo 2 × 2 Dual Band antennas are hidden and which also favors the dissipation of heat naturally. The Mi Router AX1800 includes two signal amplifiers that can improve coverage by up to 50% compared to the Xiaomi AC1200 router, a cheaper model. It also supports the connection of up to 128 devices at a time, WPA3, IPv6 network management and WiFi Mesh compatibility, great features with Xiaomi quality.

The Xiaomi Mi Router AX1800 includes a Qualcomm IPQ6000 Quad Core SoC, manufactured in 14nm with 4 ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.2Ghz and a NPU (Network Acceleration Engine) that reaches 1.5Ghz and is responsible for optimize traffic. We also have 256MB of RAM, 128GB of ROM and support for IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax IEEE 802.3/3u/3ab protocols. The 2.4Ghz band has a 2 × 2 antenna and reaches a maximum speed of 472Mbps and while the 5Ghz band also has another independent 2 × 2 antenna that reaches 1201Mbps.
At the connectivity level, the AX1800 includes a Gigabit WAN port + 3 Gigabit LAN ports. At the operating system level we have one based on OpenWRT with the corresponding MiWiFi layer and that we can also configure and monitor through an app.
