The interesting Smart TV Xiaomi Mi TV 4C, 4A and 4 Pro are already officially available in India, some products that also comes with Android TV certification since they have the Google services installed by default despite the fact that the content presentation layer continues being Patchwalk, the Chinese-style launcher that we have seen for example our review of the Xiaomi Mi Box 4. It has been a while since India has the first Xiaomi Mi TV 4 model, with this new catalog extension we hope Xiaomi will be encouraged with more countries.
The three new models presented cover all the needs of the sector, the 4C PRO model is the simplest with 32″ HD Ready, the model 4A PRO has a 49″ FullHD screen and the top model of the 4 PRO range has a 55″ 4K HDR screen. In all of them we find a Amlogic T96X SoC similar to the one we analyzed some time ago in the TV-Box Alfawise H96 mini, which can play all kinds of contents 4K H.265 and VP9, some processor similar in power to the S905X and S912 depending on the version As we see in the specifications we have versions with 1 or 2 GB of RAM and only 8 GB of internal storage.

The most interesting point of these TV-Box is that it finally seems that Xiaomi has updated its OS for SmartTV based on Patchwalk to accommodate natively Android 8 TV Oreo with Google certified services, so now we find Google Play Store installed and has integrated Chromecast too, something that we have never seen in the brand’s products for the Chinese market. By default with the TV we have a control like that of the Xiaomi Mi Box with integrated microphone with which we can give orders to Google Assistant. On the other hand, services with certificates such as Netflix or Amazon Prime do not come by default and they do not have the certificates to view them in HD quality.
