Xiaomi Mi9 all the aspects we know before its presentation at the MWC 2019

In this Mobile World Congress 2019 we will know at first-hand the new Xiaomi Mi9 in a special event for its global presentation, a new Smartphone that will undoubtedly put all the star mobile phones of the leading brands in trouble. Thanks to the tweets of Xiaomi we have been knowing details of this interesting product.

Undoubtedly its design draws attention with the rear part with laser relief that gives us spectacular reflections, a system that we have seen in other models such as in the LG G7 last year. The cameras are protected by a steel frame and high strength sapphire crystal.

The Samsung AMOLED screen with a ratio of 90.7% and has Full HD+ resolution, at the top we have a micro notch, also we have a color range of 103.8% NTSC, 600 nit brightness, high contrast and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection with fingerprint reader on the screen for frontal unlocking and day / night reading modes.

The Xiaomi Mi9 will be available in three colors, Lavender Violet, Ocean Blue and Piano Black. A good range that surely receives some more special surprise version with some improved specification. This time we do not have an audio jack, it has a high quality linear speaker with amplifier and bass improvement, USB Type-C port with fast charging mode and Game Turbo mode to adjust performance in game mode.

As it could not be otherwise we will have as engine the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, the processor that will integrate all the flagships of this year and that makes the leap to the 5G, we also have improvements at the CPU and GPU power level.

In the published Antutu benchmark with the installed Snapdragon 855 SoC the score was 387,851, with this value we see the improvement of this new SoC with respect to the Snapdragon 835 that has a score of 260,000 points usually. The system installed by default will be Android Pie 9 with the classic MIUI layer.

One of the great attractions of the Xiaomi Mi9 will be its three rear cameras, mounting Sony sensors of the highest range will have a main 48MP, another wide-angle of 117º with 16MP and one for close-ups of 12 MP with macro of 4cm. The size of the sensor goes from 1/22.5″ in the Mi8 to 1/22″ in the Mi9 so we will have much more light capture.

No doubt the photographic samples that Xiaomi has shown are spectacular and we can see a very high level of contrast, the autofocus laser system and VCM seems to offer high level results. Next Sunday April 24, we will see it in detail and we will comment our impressions first-hand, we hope that the price will also be revealed.
