Today we can find in pre sale the new Xiaomi Mijia Electric Scooter Pro, the successor of the famous electric scooter Xiaomi M365. In this new version we find a 474Wh battery that substantially improves the previous 280Wh, and with which we have up to 40% more autonomy. We also have the inclusion of LCD screen on the handlebar that provides direct information, something that is appreciated.
Autonomy, power and mechanics
The new model Xiaomi Mijia Electric Scooter Pro has an identical design in global lines to the previous model M365 something that maintains its simplicity but also drags some design flaws in its intensive use. This model has IP54 certificate against water or dust and has a higher weight than the previous one as it reaches 14.5 Kg for its new batteries.
Now we have batteries of 474Wh 12800mAh, this implies a range of up to 40 km, but the loading time is increased to 8 hours from zero. We found a 300W engine with a maximum speed of 25 km/h with Eco mode of 15Km/h and sports for the most demanding. This model is capable of climbing slopes of, theoretically, up to 20% slope.
Other features
At wheels level we find the same inflatable system of its predecessor, with a standard size of 8.5″ and include 120mm disc brake on the rear wheel and on the front anti-lock brake E-ABS. we have a new LED panel on the flyer with all the vehicle information live in addition to the Xiaomi app.
In terms of lighting we have position light, a powerful LED front light and a rear one to increase our visibility. The maximum weight allowed by this scooter is up to 100 Kg, a figure somewhat lower than other models.
