XIAOMI My Router 4 presented with Gigabit ports, MiNET and renewed processor

The giant Xiaomi has just presented its latest router Xiaomi Mi Router 4 a team that is renewed considerably and that remains true to the price philosophy of other teams in this family and that barely reaches $35 in china. Its exterior design maintains the basic shape of the previous Xiaomi router with 4 multidirectional antennas, although this time we see more rounded lines, the color as always is snowy white.

Inside the Xiaomi Mi Router 4 we find as a processor a Dual Core of Mediatek, an MT7621A capable of reaching 880Mhz a chip similar to the one we had in its latest version Xiaomi Mi Router 3G. We also found 128Mb of RAM and 128Mb of NAND memory. The Wifi chip has the protocols IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, IEEE 802.3/3u/3ab and reaches up to 1167Mbps while in the front of the modem we have a button that activates fast connections via MiNet with smart devices for his own brand.

At the level of connectivity we have good and bad news, because although we have 2 LAN ports and 1 WAN Gigabit port the USB connector disappears from this new router. The configuration menus of this router have an APP (in English) although we can also access locally.

  • XIAOMI My Router 4 is currently only available for pre order in China for a price change of only about $30, soon sure we see it in stores as Gearbest.com and its launch is scheduled for May 25.
