The new Xiaomi PAD 7 has just been presented in China, a tablet that will undoubtedly be present in the next Christmas shopping.
The screen as always is one of the points of this new Xiaomi tablet, an 11’20 inch high resolution 3.2K, 144 Hz refresh, 3: 2 format and an anti-reflective coating. A screen that is shared with the Xiaomi PAD 7 Pro for much of its hardware.
Inside we have as engine an Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC, capable of moving all kinds of apps and games and that as a reference has a result of 1,400,000 in Antutu V10. The audio system is also remarkable, as we have 4 HI-Res speakers and 4 microphones. As operating system premieres the latest layer of the Xiaomi HyperOS 2 brand based on Android. A new Xiaomi tablet that will not make it easy for the competition when the price drops a little.
Xiaomi PAD 7 Specifications
This new Xiaomi tablet includes the powerful Octa Core Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC manufactured by TSCM in 4nm. This chip reaches up to 2.8 GHz in its ARM Cortex-X4 core, has four other ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 2.6 Ghz and three ARM Cortex-A520 low-power CPUs. In the graphics section, we have an Adreno 732 GPU with OpenGL 3.2 and Vulkan 1.1 support.
This tablet has versions with 8/12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and options with 128 / 256 GB of high-speed UFS 4.0 storage memory.
Display and other features
The Xiaomi PAD 7 tablet features an 11.2-inch IPS display with 3000 × 2136 pixels resolution, 3:2 ratio, 800 nits brightness and a refresh rate that reaches 144 Hz. Screen that by the way is compatible with the Stylus of the brand and Dolby Vision and HDR10 technology.
The front camera is 8 MP and on the back we have a 13 MP camera with a small LED flash. In the audio section we have 4 Hi-Res speakers compatible with Dolby Atmos and 4 microphones. We also find a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen1 port, wireless connectivity Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. The battery is 8850 mAh and has 45 W fast charging.
Price and availability
- The new Xiaomi PAD 7 can be purchased for the moment only in China for a price starting at $275 at the exchange rate. We will have to wait for the western version, although it will surely be available in a few days on AliExpress and other online stores.
