Xiaomi presents its new smartphone Xiaomi Mi 6X, the future Xiaomi Mi A2

If there is a successful phone in the mid-range right now it is without doubt the Xiaomi Mi A1, a model with excellent features for the price and that also has Android One as OS, maintained by Google itself with OTA updates. Today Xiaomi has presented their new Xiaomi Mi X6 smartphone, this device in their western version will be the new Xiaomi Mi A2 also with Android One. For the specs as we see will be a very interesting mobile and I say substitute, noted for its cameras and its new screen in 18:9 format.

SoC, RAM and storage

Xiaomi Mi 6X incorporates the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, an Octa Core with ARM Kyro 620 high-performance processors up to 2.2 GHz and four low-power cores up to 1.8 GHz, the integrated GPU is an Adreno 530. We will have three versions of this phone with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of storage, 6 GB with 64 GB and the most powerful with 6 GB and 128 GB.

Screen and other features

The screen of the Xiaomi Mi 6X is a 5.99 inches with a resolution FullHD+ in 18:9 format that as usual includes light sensor, the buttons in this case are virtual on screen. At camera level we have a combination of double rear camera of 12 MP + 20 MP respectively mounting a Sony IMX486 sensor and another Sony IMX 376 with aperture f / 1.75 that allow you to take great photos in any situation, between the cameras we have a flash led. On the front we have a 20 MP camera with Sony IMX376 sensor to get the best results and has facial unlocking feature.

We also have a 3010 mAh battery with Quick charge 3, Wi-Fi Dual Band ac, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, FM radio and includes a Snapdragon X12 modem with Cat.4 LTE bands with support for Dual SIM and dual VoLTE. As for connectors we found a USB Type-C port, this time we lost the audio jack, in the back we have a fingerprint reader.
