Announced in China the new Xiaomi Redmi K Pad, a tablet intended for the portable Gaming sector that comes to compete with the recent Legion Y700 Gen4.
Inside we find the Mediatek Dimensity 9400 processor manufactured in 3 nm, an update of its previous version with more computing power. This Gaming tablet is compact in size thanks to its 8.8″ 3K IPS panel that reaches a refresh rate of 165 Hz, a good combination for fast response times. In addition, it integrates a powerful cooling system with a radiator area of 12050 mm² to keep temperatures at bay.
The operating system is Android 15 with the customized HyperOS 2 layer and we will have its corresponding global version that will have updates via OTA and Google Play Store.

The SoC that mounts this new tablet is a Mediatek Dimensity 9400 , an Octa Core manufactured in 3 nm by TSMC. Inside we have three clusters, the most powerful with 1 Arm Cortex-X935 processor that reaches 3.63 Ghz. In the other two clusters we have 3 Arm Cortex-X4 processors and, on the other hand, 4 Arm Cortex-A720 processors. The GPU is an Arm Immortalis-G925 MC12 and includes support for HDR10 , HDR VIVID and below. We also have an NPU 890 for artificial intelligence work.
The RAM we have versions with 8/12/16 GB LPDDR5X. For storage we have versions with 128 / 256 / 512 GB and 1 TB UFS 4.0 high-speed expandable by micro SD card up to 2 TB.

The screen of this Redmi is an 8.8″ IPS , with a resolution of 1600 x 2560, compatible with Dolby Vision and has a configurable refresh rate of up to 165 Hz. In the photographic section in the rear area we have a 13 MP sensor while in the front area we have an 8 MP camera. The thickness is only 6.4 mm and its weight is 326 grams, which allows us to carry it comfortably anywhere.
The battery is 7500 mAh with fast charging 67 W. We also find light sensors, gravity, hall, color temperature, gyroscope, wireless connectivity Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and as a connector we find a single USB 3.2 Gen1 port. For audio we have two speakers and we also have a powerful dual vibration system.
