The leaks and expectations are increasing of seeing the next Xiaomi medium range smartphone presented at the MWC 2018 in Barcelona. It would not be surprising that in this congress the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 along with the Xiaomi Mi 7 is presented in order to reinforce even more the international projection of the well-known Chinese brand. If this were so we could see in stores the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 in a few weeks, because as you know Xiaomi is used to put their terminals on sale the same day it presents them.
According to the latest leaks Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 could have two variants equipped with the latest Qualcomm SoC, specifically the Snapdragon 630 and 636 models manufactured in 14nm with 3 / 4 GB of RAM, 32 / 64GB of storage memory and a battery of 4100 mAh compatible with Quick Charge 3.0. It could have a 5.99-inch screen with an FHD+ resolution with an 18:9 ratio, 8 MP front camera and 16 + 5 MP double back. At the software level we would have MIUI 9 and among others I would already have technology for facial recognition.
