Xiaomi has just presented to the Chinese market its new Xiaomi Redmi Smart TV X50, X55 and X66 Smart TVs, this devices have interesting specifications and an attractive design that highlights for its thin metal frame.
For now these smart TVs are only available in the Chinese market and are of little use in other countries. Even so, it is possible that they will soon make the leap to other regions by adapting their tuners and adding Android TV as a system, something that we have already seen in other models of the brand.
Specifications
The new Xiaomi Redmi Smart TV X are available in sizes 50/55/65″ with 4K 3840×2160 resolution and include the MEMC image compensation system, HDR 10 and 85% NTSC Color Gamut. They have a NovaTek NT72671D Quad-Core SoC with two Cortex-A73 cores, another two Cortex-A52 while in the graphics section we have an ARM Mali-470 MP3 GPU, an interesting processor although unknown in the West. On the board of these TVs we have 2G of RAM and 32GB of internal storage to install apps.
These Smart TVs include Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, 3 HDMI 2.0 connectors, one of them ARC, two USB ports, a network connector and S / PDIF output. The integrated audio system has 4 12.5W speakers + 2 tweeters + 2 bass with Dolby certification. It has a microphone system to give voice commands to the PatchWall (Android) system that is installed.
Price and availability

- The Xiaomi Redmi Smart TV X 55″ has an approximate price of $322 (€293)
- The Xiaomi Redmi Smart TV X 65″ has an approximate price of $461 (€420)
- They are expected to go on sale on June 10 and it is unknown if we will have versions for the Global market.
