One of the most attractive laptops at the moment is undoubtedly the Xiaomi RedmiBook 14 II, based on the recent AMD Ryzen 5 4500U Renoir APU and which also has very balanced features. A laptop that can be used both to play demanding titles and to work efficiently with any program in Windows 10. In terms of design, it stands out for its front screen with very narrow frames and a level of finish quite careful.
Processor, RAM and storage
The new Xiaomi RedmiBook 14 II features the newly released AMD Ryzen 5 4500U APU output with 6 physical cores and 6 wires capable of reaching 4.0 GHz in turbo mode, which has a base frequency of 2.3 GHz and a TDP of 15 W. The GPU is an AMD Radeon Vega 6 that reaches 1500 GHz, the same GPU that we had in the previous generation but manufactured in 7 nm which represents a performance increase of approximately 30%.
These notebooks are available with configurations between 8 and 16 GB of RAM combined with 512 GB or 1 TB of capacity. With the FN+K key combination we can switch between different performance modes to work on the desktop or Gaming.
Display and other specifications
The screen of the Xiaomi RedmiBook 14 II this version has a 14-inch screen respectively with 16:10 format, 100% RGB FullHD resolution, 90% screen percentage and a brightness ranging from 50 to 300 nits. It also includes Wi-Fi aC 2×2 MIMO wireless adapter, Bluetooth, two USB 2.0 ports, two USB Type-C ports one of them with video output, HDMI connector and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
In terms of autonomy we found a 40 Wh battery that is not supposed to give an autonomy of 11 hours and the operating system included is Windows 10 fully activated. This laptop weighs 1.2 kg and measures 320.5 x 203.1 x 16.85 mm.
