Xiaomi’s new budget router, the Xiaomi Router AX3000T, which this time includes the Wifi 6 standard, is now available for sale.
A new router that comes with a renewed external design accompanied by 4 external antennas and with good performance thanks to the inclusion of WiFi 6 technology that is spreading by leaps and bounds. We would like to highlight this small router’s adoption of fast connection via NFC and the inclusion of Xtra Range technology to improve signal strength.
The Xiaomi Router AX3000T also implements technology to create WiFi MESH networks with other Xiaomi devices and is capable of handling up to 128 devices simultaneously. An interesting router and one that will drop in price in the coming weeks.

The Xiaomi Router AX3000T is controlled by a Quad Core MediaTek Filogic 830 (MT976C) processor manufactured in 12nm. A chip with ARM Cortex-A53 processors reaching 1.3 Ghz and 256 MB of RAM.
The chip that manages the Wifi 6 has the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax and IEEE 802.3/3u/3ab protocols. This router also supports OFDMA, MU-MIMO, BSS Coloring, IPv6 and WPA3 encryption. The 2.4Ghz band and 5Ghz band have a combined speed of up to 2976Mbps.
In the Xiaomi Router AX3000T we have a Gigabit port for the connection bridge to our router and three Gigabit LAN ports for distribution. The operating system, as usual, is based on OpenWRT with the corresponding MiWiFi layer, which we can manage and monitor through a Xiaomi Mi WiFi app.
