Introducing the new Xiaomi Smart Camera 3 3K surveillance camera, a product that stands out for its specifications and option to work offline.
This new camera is a more affordable version of the popular C500 with 3.5K resolution. Unlike other products of this type from Xiaomi, this new camera gives us the option of working autonomously, without having to connect it to the company’s cloud. This is welcome news, as it avoids data access problems and ensures the security of our privacy. To get it up and running and view the images it provides in real time, we will need to use the Xiaomi Home app to manage it.
This new camera also offers a rotating and tilting system up to 109º. This allows us to cover a wide field of view, as we are not limited to a horizontal area.

The small Xiaomi Smart Camera 3 3K offers a resolution of up to 2960 x 1668 pixels, and videos can be saved locally on its microSD card in h.265 format, taking up less space. It is also possible to save videos on our home network by specifying a location. This hardware is powered by the MJA1 SoC, which specializes in security and home automation.
To connect, we have a 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi network, offering maximum compatibility and good range. At the rear, there is a speaker for sending our voice, a microphone for capturing audio, and an infrared LED system for seeing in the dark or in low light.
