It seems that new products equipped with the new SoC of AMlogic S905Y2 in the TV-Stick format, for which this chip has been designed, are being introduced since today we find it moving the new Z69n. This small mediaplayer is designed to occupy a minimum space and use it basically as a streaming mediaplayer since its storage expansion options are minimal since it does not include, for example, a simple microSD card reader. If we do not have space problems we have models with TV-Box format for a similar price, much more flexible and with a very small size.
SoC, RAM and storage
The TV-Stick Z69n is based on the AMlogic SoC S905Y2 a Quad Core manufactured in 12nm with ARM Cortex-A53 processors and an ARM Mali-G31mp2 GPU. The included RAM is 2/4GB LPDDR4 and the storage is 16/32GB eMMc 5.1. In theory, a SoC with which we will not have problems when using it as a media player or for games.
Other specifications
At the level of wireless connectivity we have Dual Band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.1. The connectors included in this TV-Stick are the minimum, an HDMI 2.0 video output, a microUSB port for power and a USB 3.0. The operating system installed is Android 8.1.
