Today we present the new Android TV-Box Zidoo Z1000 a model that continues to expand the family of media players of high quality image and sound by this brand. At the hardware level we have a fairly classic model although this time they have changed their connectors, but continue with the internal bay for 3.5″ disk. SoC, RAM and Storage
Zidoo Z1000 has as main engine Realtek RTD1296DD SoC designed in collaboration between Zidoo and Realtek, a Quad Core chip that includes four processors ARM Cortex-A53 64bit and a Mali-T820 MP3 GPU with support for H.265 / VP9 codecs and capable to play video up to resolutions 4K@60fps UHD with HDR and 10bit color support. It also includes 2 GB of DDR4 RAM, 16 GB of eMMc storage memory and a bay with SATA 3 connectors that we have on the front and that supports 3.5-inch drives.
In the Zidoo Z1000 we have at the network level a WiFi aC 2T2R adapter with two internal antennas, Bluetooth 4.2 and a Gigabit Ethernet port. The connectors included in this equipment are varied, we have two USB 2.0 ports, two other USB 3.0 ports, RS232 port, optical audio output, composite video output, HDMI 2.0a video output with 4K60fps HDR10 support and an HDMI 2.0 input with PiP function.
The operating system is dual with Android 7.1 and OpenWRT (NAS). The Android version will be very customized by Zidoo as usual and it seems that it will include navigation support for Blue-Ray 4K. Of series we have a remote control included is very complete that is backlit.
