Today we have the new ZIDOO Z9X that we saw a few days ago in review as well as its big brother ZIDOO Z10 Pro. The first global distribution channel of these new TV-Box Hi-Fi is the official ZIDOO store at Aliexpress.com but we will soon see them in more stores outside this great bazaar.
These boxes are designed for those who are looking for quality in local content playback and Bluray or DVD backups, support for VP9 profile 2, HDR10+, Dolby Vision VS and supports automatic refresh. In the audio section we have official support for Dolby ATMOS, DTS:X, DTS-HD MA and Dolby True-HD, as well as high quality audio formats. In addition, we have been surprised by Netflix FullHD, Disney+, HBO and other support.
SoC, RAM and storage
On the ZIDOO Z9X and ZIDOO Z10 Pro we have the new Realtek RTD1619DR SoC which has six ARM Cortex-A55 CPU cores and integrates a Mali-G51 MP3 GPU. It has 2 GB of DDR4 RAM, the Z9X has 16 GB of internal storage with an external SATA side connector, the model Z20 Pro has 32 GB, external SATA port and also has an internal 3.5″ disk bay.
Other specifications
WiFi aC 2×2 MIMO connectivity with two external antennas and Bluetooth 4.2 is also included in the ZIDOO Z9X and Z10 Pro TV-Boxes. The interfaces are quite complete, and we have HDMI 2.0b output, HDMI 2.0a input, SPDIF, three USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, SATA connector, AV jack, RS232 jack and Gigabit Ethernet port, in the Z10 Pro we also have RCA audio and video connectors.
As operating system we have Android 9 with the usual layer of ZIDOO ZIUI, own remote control app, WOL power system, network access to content on the connected disks, and we have support for DVD and native Bluray playback.
