Zotac has just presented a new series of miniPC’s under the name of Zotac ZBOX BI329, some devices that although have active ventilation promise to be very quiet. As expected it is a compact device of only 188mm x 188mm x 44mm with the usual design of this brand and that includes as an innovation an 8th Generation Intel processor soldered on the board.
Processor, RAM and storage
The mini PCs of the Zotac ZBOX BI329 family include the recent Intel Celeron N4100 processor, a chip with four x86 cores capable of reaching 2.40 GHz in turbo mode and including an Intel UHD Graphics 600 with 12EU that is capable of Play video up to 4K @ 60fps resolutions. For the RAM we have 2 SODIMM DDR4 2400Mhz slots where we can install up to 8GB, while at the storage level we have a SATA3 port with an internal bay for a 2.5 inch SSD. This SATA3 port is not present in the version of this Zotac that includes preinstalled Windows 10, it is replaced by an M.2 port.
Other specifications
In terms of wireless connectivity they have WiFi Dual-band AC with external antenna, Bluetooth 4.2 and at the port level it includes 2 USB 3.0 ports, a USB 2.0 port, a USB Type-C, SD card reader, Gigabit network connector and video outputs VGA, DP and HDMI 2.0 that allows video output up to 4K resolutions at 60fps.
