ZOTAC ZBOX CI660 nano a new family of passive miniPC for 8th Generation Intel processors

The ZOTAC brand has just added to its line of products the new ZOTAC ZBOX CI660, a new miniPC that present different improvements in its passive cooling that make possible the installation of Intel processors with a higher TDP. As you can see, the chassis of the new box has perforations in almost all of its surface and internally we have a large heatsink that wraps the entire base plate by its upper face to achieve optimal dissipation.

Processor, RAM and storage

The new ZOTAC ZBOX CI660 can be purchased in different configurations under different names and will be equipped with Intel i3-8130U, i5-8250U and i7-8550U processors. Optionally they can be accompanied by 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD of 2.5 inches. Internally it includes 2 slots for SO-DIMM DDR4 and a bay for SSD of 2.5 inches.

Other specifications

It also includes Wi-Fi AC connectivity with external antenna and Bluetooth 4.2. The included connectors are 5 USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 3.1 Type-C ports, 2 Gigabyte network connectors, a pair of audio jacks, SD card reader and HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.2 video outputs capable of reaching 4K 60fps.

  • The new ZOTAC ZBOX CI660 will be available shortly in US stores like Amazon, but for now we do not know the price.
