We have already presented the new generation of powerful mini PC ZOTAC ZBOX Magnus that this time land with a more powerful configuration in which highlights its Nvidia GPU capable of moving games and demanding programs.
As always the external design of this new Zotac is a gift to the eye, as it arrives in a box conveniently grilled and with a volume of only 2.65 liters. Inside, a powerful Intel Core i7 11th Gen processor has been opted for, too bad it’s not a new 12th Gen, Octa Core which is going to have no problem making this machine fly. The dedicated GPU is also high-end, as a powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 has been chosen, equipped with advanced ray tracing capable of delivering good great performance even in games at 4K resolution.
Undoubtedly one of the most powerful mini PCs out there today and which we hope will also arrive in a version with the new AMD Ryzen 6000 Series presented this very week.
Processor, RAM and storage
Inside the ZOTAC ZBOX Magnus EN1713080C we have an Intel Core i7-11800H processor manufactured in 10 nm SuperFin. This Chip is an Octa Core with 16 Threads capable of reaching 4.0 Ghz in turbo mode and integrating a UHD Graphics Xe 750 GPU with 32 UE. The dedicated graphics is an NVIDIA RTX 3080 manufactured in 8nm by Samsung that comes with 16 GB of 256-bit GDDR6 RAM.
For RAM we have two SODIMM slots where we can install up to 64 GB of memory type DDR4-3200 / 2933. For storage we find two connectors for SSD M.2 NVMe PCIe x4 (also with support for Intel Optane) and a SATA3 connector for another 2.5-inch storage unit.
Other specifications
In the networking section we have an internal Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX1650 adapter that provides WIFi aX and Bluetooth 5.0 and two network ports, one of them 2.5Gbps. As connectors we find an SD card reader, 2 3.5mm audio jacks, a Thunderbolt 4, 5 USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A, 2 HDMI 2.1 and two DisplayPort 1.4a ports all capable of outputting video at up to 8K resolutions at 60fps or 4K at up to 120 fps.
The power supply is external 19.5V/330W and the system is Windows 11 compatible.
