The new ZOTAC ZBOX Pico PI430AJ mini PC is now available for purchase; it stands out for featuring AirJet solid-state passive cooling.
Thanks to the solid-state cooling system, the membranes within these solid-state units vibrate in response to heat and dissipate it on their own. Inside this compact PC is an Intel i3-N300 processor, which is a substantial improvement over the popular Intel N100. The Intel i3-N300 is a processor with 8 x86 cores and 8 threads—twice as many as the Intel N100—and it’s also faster, reaching 3.8 GHz, and features a better iGPU; this extra cooling will undoubtedly serve it well.
Thanks to its cooling system, this mini PC requires no maintenance and will operate completely silently. It will be very interesting to see how AirJet’s performance compares to that of conventional active cooling systems.

The ZOTAC ZBOX Pico PI430AJ mini PC is powered by a 12th generation Intel Core i3-N300 processor, manufactured on a 10 nm process and with a maximum power consumption of just 7 W. This chip is an Octa-Core processor with eight threads and a clock speed of up to 3.8 GHz. The GPU is an Intel UHD GPU with 32 EUs that reaches a speed of 1.25 MHz. This processor is well-suited for use with productivity software, educational applications, casual and light gaming, and medium-load design applications.
For RAM, it features 8 GB of soldered LPDDR5 memory running at 4800 MT/s, which is somewhat limited by today’s standards. In terms of storage, it includes an M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 slot.
Connectivity and other features
For network connectivity, this mini PC is well-equipped, featuring a Gigabit Ethernet port,Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. As for ports, it features two USB-A 3.2 ports, a USB-C port with DisplayPort output, a 3.5mm audio jack, a microSD card reader, and two video outputs: HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4. In total, it offers three video outputs supporting 4K@60 HDR resolutions.
This fanless mini PC is designed to run 24/7, and the installed operating system is Windows 11 Pro, though it is compatible with many Linux distributions. On the back, there is a VESA mount for attaching it to a monitor, and a DC adapter is included for power.
