Today we found on AliExpress a mini PC of minuscule size, the so-called ZX05 with measurements of only 6.2 x 14.5 x 2 cm.
A very low power PC driven by the popular Intel N100 processor manufactured in 10nm, with a TDP of only 6 W. and that we have already seen in a review. A perfectly valid chip to be used for productivity tasks, computer tools suites, navigation, 4K multimedia playback.
From the ZX05, we are attracted by its two HDMI video outputs that allow the simultaneous use of two monitors and its LPDDR5 RAM memory, which will give a plus of interesting speed to this small mini PC.
ZX05 mini PC Specifications
Inside the ZX05 micro PC we have an Intel N100 processor manufactured in 10 nm with four cores and four execution threads that reach up to 3.4 GHz. For the graphics section we have an integrated Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 24EU compatible with AV1, VP9 and h.265 video codecs up to 4K@60fps. This processor and GPU is not designed for very demanding 3D games, but it does allow us to use the device for other daily multimedia or office tasks smoothly
For RAM, we have a single version with 12 GB LPDDR5 soldered on board and is not expandable. Regarding storage, we find different versions for its M.2 NVMe SSD connector.
Other notable features
This tiny low power micro PC includes for wireless connectivity dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2. As for ports, we find on the perimeter of the small box a 3.5mm audio jack, Gigabit network connector, three USB-A 3.0 and two HDMI 2.0 outputs that allow video resolutions up to 4K@60fps.
The operating system installed on the ZX05 is Windows 11 and a small 12V / 3A power supply is included which we will connect via a USB Type-C port.
