We can already find on AliExpress the new retro console in vertical format R36S Plus, a portable which highlights its screen with 1:1 ratio ideal for certain consoles and arcade machines.
Its screen is 4 inches with a good resolution of 720 x 720 pixels and is driven by the Allwinner A133 Plus processor. This is a chip with enough power to emulate consoles up to PSP or N64 and that we have in such popular machines as the Trimui Smart Pro.
The operating system that comes on a micro SD card is Arkos 2.0, which ensures maximum performance of the console and hopefully can be updated in the future. As always, it is highly recommended to make a backup copy of the system card.

This new retro console includes as its backbone an Allwinner A133 Plus SoC, quite popular in the retro console sector. A Quad Core processor made with 4 ARM Cortex-53 cores capable of reaching a speed of 1.8 GHz with aPowerVR GE8300 GPU that reaches 850 Mhz.
As for RAM we have 1 GB DDR3 and for storage we have two slots for micro SD cards up to 256 GB where we can store games.
Display and other features
In the retro R36S Plus we find a 4-inch IPS OCA screen with 1:1 aspect ratio and a high resolution of 720 × 720 pixels. As for controls, we have a configuration with a crosshead, two Sticks, four buttons, four triggers, start, select and reset. The connectors we find are a 3.5 mm audio jack and two USB Type-C, one for charging and one OTG.
This console offers us inside with a 1 W speaker, Wi-Fi connectivity and an internal 3000 mAh battery that provides up to 8 h of autonomy.
