It appears that mini PC assemblers are looking for vintage components to lower prices, and the new GMKTec G3 Pro is an example of this, bringing back a processor from 2019.
Inside this small computer, we find a low-power Intel Core i3-10110U chip with only two cores and four threads. This hardware has enough power to run Windows 11 and desktop programs, but not to play demanding games or perform heavy tasks. The machine measures just 114 × 106 × 43 mm, so we can hide it in any corner of our desk.
It also stands out for its RAM expansion capabilities thanks to its two SODIMM DDR4 slots and storage with two M2 NVMe 2280 and M2 SATA 2242 disks. We have VESA support and dual 4K@60fps video output.

TheGMKTec G3 Promini PC includes a low-power Intel Core i3-10110U processor manufactured in 14 nm, a Dual Core with four threads, a base frequency of 2.1 GHz, turbo reaching up to 4.1 GHz, and an Intel UHD Graphics GPU with 32 execution units, a very simple solution for basic use.
We have versions with 8/16 GB of DDR4 RAM in two SO-DIMMs, although it is expandable up to 64 GB. For storage, we have an M.2 2280 NVMe SSD and M.2 2242 SATA3 port, with default capacities of 256/512 GB. We also have a barebone option without storage or RAM.
Other specifications
In terms of networking, we haveWi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 with internal antennas. The box also includes an RJ45 Gigabit network port. Connection interfaces include four USB-A 3.0 ports, two HDMI 1.4 video outputs , and audio input and output jacks.
The version with RAM and disk has Windows 11 installed by default, but we can also install Linux if we want to get more out of this humble hardware.
