The global launch of the new TECLAST T60Mini is underway. This compact tablet stands out for its state-of-the-art operating system, Android 17, so even if it doesn’t receive OS updates, it will have a long service life.
This TECLAST features an 8.8-inch display with a high resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, 400 nits of brightness, and a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz. It’s powered by the new 6-nm Octa-Core Unisoc T7300 processor, a lower-mid-range chip that, for reference, scores over 600,000 points on Antutu V11 and is therefore roughly on par with the MediaTek Helio G200, meaning it should have no trouble running apps and games.
It has 4 GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and for storage, it offers 128 GB of high-speed UFS 2.2, expandable via microSD cards up to 2 TB.
The TECLAST T60Mini includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, FM radio, GPS, and a 4G modem with dual SIM support, so you can always stay connected. For connectivity, it features a USB Type-C port; the battery is 6,000 mAh with fast charging up to 18 W, and it has two speakers for audio. The cameras, as always, are modest: a 5 MP front-facing camera and a 13 MP rear camera with an LED flash.
The operating system is Android 17 with the TeclastOS 3.0 overlay, and it does NOT include Widevine L1 certification, which allows for HD-quality streaming on platforms like Netflix, Disney, etc.
