A teaser has been released for the new AYN Odin 3 Portal console, a device with a larger screen than the standard 6-inch Odin 3, which is set to replace the successful Odin 2 Portal.
This AYN Odin 3 Portal stands out for its power; inside, it features the powerful 3nm-processed Qualcomm Dragonwing Q8 processor, which has eight Oryon cores and an Adreno 830 GPU, allowing it to run all kinds of Android games and demanding emulators. Essentially, it’s a solution similar to the Snapdragon 8 Elite found in smartphones. It’s likely to also feature a 7-inch FHD OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate; based on its size, it appears to have exactly the same dimensions.
This console comes with Android pre-installed, allowing users to access the Google Play Store to download games and emulators without restrictions; thanks to its raw processing power, it can even emulate the Nintendo Switch. This SoC integrates a Wi-Fi 7 adapter, which is ideal for using streaming services like Moonlight and Steam Link to play games remotely.
As for controls, it features a layout with two Hall-effect joysticks, a D-pad, four buttons, four triggers, function keys, and a fingerprint reader built into the casing. In terms of battery life, it has a built-in 9,000 mAh battery.
