A95XZ2 PLUS MAX the Smart Box with RK3318 SoC of the day

We continue with the avalanche of Boxes with RK3318 SoC, the trimmed and cheap version of the RK3228, which today is present in the new Smart Box A95XZ2 PLUS MAX. A box within the lower range moved by Android 9.0 that this time at least includes bluetooth and has an optional remote control with voice functions. Few new things to note in this box that if it were not for its wireless connectivity and some detail such as HDMI 2.1 would be traced to others that we have already seen.

Basic review

We can see the possible performance of the A95XZ2 PLUS MAX in the review of a similar Box with the same SoC that we have already analyzed. This Android TV-Box that can be used as a basic 4K media player with KODI or IPTV and in it we can also run simple games without too much resources. We must remember that these cheap Boxes do not have secured support and do not have DRM certificates with which we can only see Netflix in the most basic image quality. SoC, RAM and storage

The Smart TV Box A95XZ2 PLUS MAX has the RockChip RK3318 SoC that integrates four ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1.5Ghz and a Mali-450mp5 GPU that includes native H.265 and VP9 video decoding up to 4K resolutions @ 60fps with support for HDR. It has versions with 2/4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16/32/64 GB of eMMc storage memory that can be extended by adding a memory card in the included microSD card reader.

Other specifications

Regarding wireless connections, this TV-Box has Dual Band WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0. On the sides of the box we find a USB 3.0 port, another USB 2.0, 10/100 network connector, analog AV jack, SPDIF digital audio output and an HDMI 2.1 port that allows up to 4K@75fps video resolutions. It includes the classic IR remote control and an HDMI cable.
