We have today the announcement of the compact Alldocube iPlay 50 Mini Pro tablet, a version of the 8.4″ Alldocube iPlay 50 Mini with Helio G99 SoC.
This tablet now surprises us with the Mediatek Helio G99 SoC, a substantial improvement over the previous much inferior UNISOC T606. We also have the double of RAM with 8 GB and up to 16 GB adding the virtual, plus storage reaches 256 GB. With this hardware we will have no problems to move demanding apps and games on this compact system.
The operating system is up to date with Android 13. An interesting point because for sure it will have few or no updates from this brand.
Alldocube iPlay 50 Mini Pro Specifications
In this new Alldocube iPlay50 Mini Pro we find a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, an Octa Core manufactured in 6 nm. A chip with 2 ARM Cortex-A76 processors that reach 2.2 Ghz + 6 ARM Cortex-A55 that reach up to 2.0 GHz. In the graphics section we have integrated GPU Mali-G57 MC2 that gives us access to play demanding titles smoothly. An SoC that we have already seen in different Realme, Teclast and Doogee tablets.
In silver mounts 8 GB of LPDDR4 RAM (up to 16 GB using virtual memory) and regarding the internal storage of 256 GB eMMc 5.1. The storage can be expanded up to 512 GB thanks to the micro SD card reader found in the SIM tray.
Other features
The touch screen remains with a size of 8.4 inches IPS OGS and a fairly high resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, this gives us a good density of points. At the top of the screen we have a 5 MP camera with microphone that complements with another 13 MP rear camera without flash.
This tablet has mobile connectivity with its 4G-LTE Multiband modem with Dual SIM tray. We also have Wifi 5 wireless network, Bluetooth 5.2, gyroscope, GPS, a 5000 mAh battery with 18 W fast charging and a single speaker. In terms of connectivity we have a USB-C 2.0 port for charging and data, a 3.5 mm audio jack and the SIM/SD slot.
