ALLDOCUBE iPlay 70 a 10.1″ featuring the new Soc Octa Core ASR8662

The new ALLDOCUBE iPlay 70 has just been presented, which surprises us by using an Octa Core ASR8662 processor, the first time we see this integrated in a tablet.

This SoC ASR8662 is designed by ASR Microelectronics, is originally oriented to cheap smartphones and as a reference its score in the popular app Antutu would be around 230,000 points. The configuration of this 10.1-inch is quite basic, with 4 GB of RAM, HD resolution screen, although at least it has 90 Hz refresh and Wi-Fi 6.

As operating system is this most basic tablet of the iPlay 70 family, we have Android 15 in its stock version, without any kind of layer and if we want to be connected to the mobile network constantly we have a 4G modem with Dual SIM.

Inside this tablet is an ASR8662 processor. This chip is an Octa Core with 2 high-performance ARM Cortex-A76 processors capable of reaching 1.7 GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 1.5 GHz and an ARM Mali-G310 GPU that reaches 819 Mhz. A processor with a power to move apps without problems and games at medium or low level.

We have 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM on the motherboard and 128 GB internal storage eMMc 5.1 that we can expand up to 1 TB thanks to the micro SD card reader.

Other features

The touchscreen of this ALLDOCUBE is a 10.1-inch IPS InCell display with an HD resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels, brightness of 360 nits and a refresh rate of 90Hz. On top of the screen, we have a 5 MP camera with microphone that complements the 5 MP rear with flash.

This tablet integrates Wi-Fi 6 wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.4, gyroscope, GPS, a 6000 mAh battery with 18W charging, 4g-Lte modem with Dual SIM and two stereo speakers. In terms of connectivity, we have a USB Type-C port for charging and data.
