Lately we do not have many 8-inch tablets, but today we find the new Alldocube Smile 1 in this compact size that is enough for multimedia consumption and reading.
A tablet that has humble specifications, but enough for home use, a fairly conventional design, although with 3 GB of RAM, something unusual in this size that normally only 2 GB. We also have the new Android 11 operating system, a pair of speakers and the Unisoc T310 processor that we have seen very little, but that can give good results as we have seen in other chips from this manufacturer.
SoC, RAM and storage
The Alldocube Smile 1 tablet includes the Unisoc T310 SoC, a Quad Core manufactured with an ARM Cortex-A75 processor capable of reaching 2.0 GHz and a second group with 3 ARM Cortex-A55 cores that reach 1.8 GHz GHz speed. For the graphic section, we have a PowerVR GE8300 GPU, a low-end chip today.
We also have 3 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 32 GB of high-speed eMMc 5.1 storage memory built into the board that we can expand thanks to the micro SD card reader included on one side up to 256 GB.
Display and other specifications
The touch screen of the Alldocube Smile 1 is an 8-inch IPS with an HD + resolution of 1280 × 800 pixels with contained frames, it also includes a 2 MP front camera with microphone that complements the 5 MP rear. We also have Wi-Fi connectivity aC and Bluetooth 5.0 LE, it also has GPS and radio in the same module. We have a 4000 mAh battery that will give us about 6 hours of use but does not have fast charging.
In terms of connectivity we find a 3.5 mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port for data and battery recharging, it also has integrated vibration.
